Digital Marketing
According to external sources, the origin of Digital Marketing dates back to the 90's, after the popularization of the Internet, and it was not until the 2000-2010 decade when this trend began its diversification process and began to attract public attention, from the emergence of Web 2.0. Since then, it has been constantly evolving until it reaches what we know today.
It is said that in its beginnings, Digital Marketing was nothing more than digital advertising, since the methods used at that time were, above all, aimed at communication. But, to be honest, despite the fact that enough knowledge and techniques such as "Inbound Marketing" (HubSpot, 2005) and "ZMOT" (Google, 2011) have emerged , the truth is that we are still tied to advertising in large part .
This reminds me of the author Sainz de Vicuña (2015) in his book "The Digital Marketing Plan in Practice" , who states that Digital Marketing is still a boy of just 10 years of age, who will become a teenager when the approaches of Digital communication is directed towards a more strategic marketing, and it will be an adult when this type of marketing is spread across all sectors, applying to all types of companies, regardless of size or scope.
